NGAS (Nasdaq: NGAS) is an E&P company focused on unconventional natural gas plays in the eastern U.S., primarily in the southern portions of the Appalachian and Illinois Basins. NGAS has specialized in generating and developing geological prospects in these areas for over 20 years.
NGAS owns interests in over 1,400 wells, 360,000 acres of oil and gas leases, and 650 miles of gas gathering pipeline. Ninety percent of its southern Appalachian gas is delivered directly from the wellhead to the interstate gas transportation system, eliminating the need for third party transportation.

William S.
Daugherty, age 54, has served as the
President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the NGAS Resources, Inc.
("NGAS") board of directors since September 1993, as well as its Chairman of
the Board since 1995.He has also served
as Chairman of the Board of Daugherty Petroleum, Inc. ("DPI") since 1984.Mr. Daugherty currently serves as the
Governor of Kentucky's Official Representative to the Interstate Oil and Gas
Compact Commission and a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent
Petroleum Association of America.He
also serves on the Unconventional Resources Technology Advisory Committee.He is a past president of both the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association ("KOGA") and the Kentucky Independent Petroleum
Producers Association.Mr. Daugherty
holds a B.S. Degree from Berea College, Berea, Kentucky and an Honorary Doctorate of Science from Eastern Kentucky
University, Richmond, KY.
