G. Anthony Busseni, has been the President and CEO of Farmers Capital Bank Corporation since 2002. During his tenure with Farmers Capital Bank Corporation Mr. Busseni has held various other positions within the Company: President and CEO of Farmers Bank & Capital Trust Co., Frankfort; President and CEO of Farmers Bank, Georgetown; President and CEO of First Citizens Bank, Elizabethtown; and Vice President of Loan Review, Farmers Bank, Frankfort.
Previously Mr. Busseni worked as a bank examiner for the Comptroller of Currency, and was a Vice President of Citizens Union National Bank, Lexington, Kentucky.
Cecil Douglas Carpenter, Senior Vice President, has been the Chief
Financial Officer of Farmers Capital Bank Corporation since August 1993, and
Secretary since July 2001.
From May 1979 through July 1993, Mr. Carpenter worked for Bank One, Lexington (formerly First Security Corporation of Kentucky) beginning as
an entry level Accountant. During his tenure, he held various accounting
positions, lastly as Director of Accounting.
Mr. Carpenter graduated from the University of Kentucky
with a B.S. Degree in Accounting May 1979.
